No-dig gardening is an easy and cheap way to create a garden bed over virtually any type of surface. The area is sheet mulched to smother weeds or grass then different layers of organic material such as straw, compost and manure are stacked on top of one another like a lasagne. The end result is a nutrient dense, weed-free garden bed that is ready for planting your favourite veggies!
