FRECKO are a father/ son duo (Jason & Jack Freckelton), from the NSW Central Coast & the Inner West of Sydney. Their unique musical bond is based on a shared love of the Australian character, in all its forms & failures.

Playing music together for over 15 years, FRECKO have found their unique place within the diverse collective of alt-country/folk & blues music. Inspired by the romance of the Australian story, the duo celebrates the highs & lows of life & the people you meet along the way.

Best heard live & loud, the Tamworth regulars are taken to songs about good times, old cars, Friday nights &  the social fabric of Australian culture with a broad range of muses displayed in their music catalogue.

FRECKO released their debut album ‘Dreams Are Hard To Sell’ at the 2025 Tamworth Country Music Festival.  Two weeks later it held the #1 spot on the Australian ARIA charts & other charts around the country.

Not ones for laying idle, a follow-up album for FRECKO is just around the corner with the singles 'Nashville', 'Bondi' & 'Me & My Boy' already released on all platforms.

FRECKO’s latest single will introduce the inner western in all of us with “Concrete Cowboy” in October, a pedal steel driven ride into big city cowboy culture.
