The first General Meeting for Granite Borders Landcare will be hosted by the fabulous Steinbrook Hall Association on Thursday 26th March between 10am - 2:30pm (NSW time/ AEDT*). We will kick off with our guest speaker, Dr Anthony Rice, followed by a brief General Meeting, then updates from our Landcare Groups. Our Landcare Groups are invited to talk about your activities these past year, what you are working towards and what you would like to see happen moving forward. Come by 9:30am to register and settle in for a great day.

Dr Anthony Rice, Granite Belt Integrated Pest Management Global

Ant is and Insect Ecologist and IPM consultant who delivers engaging talks on the global threat to invertebrates and the cost of this lost biodiversity. He discusses current drivers for insect decline and presents some easy steps that farmers, gardeners and consumers more broadly can take to help find the balance between the drive to feed a growing population and the stewardship of the future landscape we leave our children. His talks are always moving, and he welcomes questions and discussions, and respects a diversity of thoughts and opinions.
