Hosted by the Diploma of Event Management Students at Ourimbah Tafe. This event is part of our Diploma course where we design, implement and hold a community event. Our vision of the event is to raise awareness of the mental health resources The Black Dog Institute offers the community. Also offering a free wellness movement class and morning tea.

Our "Mindful Movements" session will run for no more than 40 minutes, and you are invited to join us for a morning tea after the session, the morning will be a free event.

The purpose of the event is to bring women together to engage in mindful movement activities facilitated by The Wellness Event Co. The session is titled "Mindful Movements", a mind -body approach to fusion belly dance. Focusing on internal body awareness and movement education. This workshop helps to connect back to a calm and joyful state, release tension and stress from the body and involves paying attention to breath, sensations and emotional wellbeing. Also learning new movements, breath awareness for grounding, simple fusion belly dance combinations and effortless stretches. These activities are aimed at providing women with strategies to engage in selfcare & wellness practices.
