This is about staying alive! If you screw up, that’s you dead, and that’s me dead. That’s the last seven years of being trapped in here amounting to nothing.

In a small bunker, in an empty city, in a dried up world, live two sisters who have been barely looking after each other as long as they can remember. Until the day a stranger knocks at the door.

When this intruder makes them an offer that could lead to either safety or death, the sisters realise how differently they feel about one another and how hard it can be to tell the difference between protecting someone and caging them.

Inside is a play about trust, the consequences of our actions, and whether looking after someone can do more harm than good.

Inside will be Ryde Youth Theatre’s very first production in our new performance space, The Underground at Westward Cottage, 10 Turner St, Ryde.
