Saba plays Classics at Stanley Park (SOLD OUT)

We are delighted to announce an afternoon of Great Piano Classics in the concert room, together with a champagne welcome and afternoon tea at the historic Stanley Park estate at Fullerton Cove. Stanley Park is situated just 2 hours from north Sydney, within 30 minutes of most Newcastle and Port Stephens suburbs, and an hour’s drive from the Hunter Valley wine country.

Famous for its musical evenings when it was built c1897, Stanley Park, with its 28 acres of rolling, park-like grounds and uninterrupted water views will, 120 years on, again be hosting the distinguished London based Australian pianist Geoffrey Saba in an engrossing programme of masterworks by Haydn and Beethoven. The programme ends with Beethoven's monumental Diabelli Variations, described by Alfred Brendel as "the greatest of all piano works".
