Miriam and her trio featuring Susie Bishop on violin (Chaika/Hinterland) and Kate Adams on cello will be performing at One Space in Bondi. This will be Miriam's last show before heading to teach music and perform in Indonesia. 

Miriam and her trio have been busy touring their latest acclaimed album release ‘Full Circle’ around the country - A work that Rhythms magazine described as “ A thing of intoxicating beauty “ (November 2016 issue ). Having spent long periods of time studying with greats in West Africa, Miriam writes and performs mostly on the kora - her signature 21 stringed West African harp, to which she brings her own contemporary Western- ed pop sensibilities and her powerful, unmistakable voice. With songs reminiscent of the early work of Joni Mitchell infused with rhythms of Africa, the lush vocal harmonies and string parts of cello and violin open out the music to a soaring beautiful soundscape.

One space is an alcohol free, all ages event. Chai, kombucha and tasty treats from Green Goodness Love will be available on the night.
