2017 Winter Solstice , Return to the Light Within

WINTER SOLSTICE JUNE 20^TH 2017

RETURN TO THE LIGHT WITHIN

CHAMBERS ISLAND

You step on the footbridge to cross the Maroochy river, and the magic begins. You are taking the steps away from the humdrum of life, and walking towards a space of magic, transformation, energy vortex, high vibrational sounds, a portal of light on an island. There is a sense of returning to a place of knowing

We gather, we connect, we share, we are a community celebrating the Winter Solstice, the time of rebirthing, reawakening, the welcoming of the sun back into our lives, which is the remembering of the light within you.

As a community, like our ancestors,  we connect even more deeply to the ancient ways, we respect, we offer gratitude, and we create a new reference point to move forward from.

Residing deep in our DNA  simmers the remnants of our ancestors, the traditions of honouring the cycles of the sun and moon, following the rhythm of the earth.

We often look to the cosmos, the stars, moon and sun reflecting light towards us, in wonder, a simple moment of connection to the ancient traditions, wisdom and ceremonies.

Rituals and ceremonies give us the experience to open up to what we require to keep burning bright, to stay aligned with souls purpose, to let go, to evolve. These physical experiences set a new paradigm for each of us personally.

Winter Solstice, traditionally the shortest day and longest night, also summons the arrival of the sun., when the days become longer, more filled with light.

These days our inner light can be compromised with the general ways of life, and we forget to reconnect, to stop and honour the cycles and seasons.

We are required to pay attention, to keep fuelling that light of divinity within us. The light that gives us the unique frequency that we are

This year on June 290^th, the night before the solstice, we prepare, we align we remember and we re-ignite the light within by paying attention to it

What do we need to fuel our inner light

What is required to enhance it

What things are dimming it down

What can be released with gratitude

Raelene will create a large crystal mandala to welcome the light. It will be a return to the ancients tradition of sitting around a communal fire

You will experience a deeply guided meditation

Suntara,, aka Daniel Coates will then take you on a deep sound healing immersion journey, This works into your cells, DNA to assist in the clearing and re-awakening.

This will be a deeply transforming experience as it is about your own inner light

You are asked to bring a votive candle holder to the event.  and some greenery. Raelene will supply the candles

Raelene and Daniel are so looking forward to creating a winter magical experience

Please bring with you what you require for your own comfort. There will be chairs, and if you want to lie down, you will need to bring a mat, towel, rug, perhaps a cushion and something to keep you warm.
