Join us as we present the recipient of the 2017 Women in Non-Traditional Trades Scholarship.  Learn about the women pioneering the current generation into area of gender parity and female representation. 

The now $1,000 scholarship will be presented Sunday 4th June over lunch at the Dining Hall along with what is anticipated to be a great afternoon meeting and listening to our Guest Speaker, Chi Ko.

No stranger to the unique journey of working in a non-traditional trade, Chi Ko is herself a second year apprentice following her dream of becoming Bike builder. Chi Ko has a academic background in disability advocacy and she studied political science and international relations at the university of Newcastle. She is an accomplished burlesque performer and rides a 1200 Harley Davidson Sportster. She has always had an interest in the automotive industry and wanted to be a bike builder.Now she enjoys Spraypainting.

This year the Network is especially fortunate because in addition the an increase in amount of the scholarship through the generous support of the local community and Network Members and Supporters, local area business Beyond Bank has offered to proudly support the event to ensure the Network is able to continue to meet the costs of the annual event.
