Protect our Reef, land and Culture Jam Charity Event:Protect our Reef, land and Culture Jam with Gambirra & Haitch 


Join in an evening soirée with Haitch Music from SE QLD & GAMBIRRA a Yolngu Songstress Sharing and weaving a perspective of another ancient kind... connecting heart, song & visuals, get inspired by environmental awareness with Greenpeace Australia Pacific, and be moved with culture as we come together to be the change for our mother earth.

Raise awareness of and take action to protect two of our most vital water sources from mining:
The great artesian basin & the Pilliga from Santos Gas Mining and
The Great Barrier Reef from Adani Coal Mining.

Submission forms for the Santos Pilliga CSG gas mining plan will also be available on the night to sign and be submitted before the submission period closes on May 22.

Join us for an evening celebrating this community and musical diversity. Sharing stories, musings and music with a conscious spin.

Two contemporary Australian artists line up to share the vibes. From foot stomping to heart calming.

Educate yourself and friends with talks from Greenpeace about our environment.

Donations from each ticket sale will be made towards environmental action groups like Greenpeace Australia Pacific.

Gambirra
GAMBIRRA MOB - Where words fail... Music speaks. 

A Yolngu songstress, performer, painter & cultural educator hailing from northeast Arnhem Land. Related to many tribal family members of significant recognition such as Gurrumul Yunipingu, Yothu Yindi, East Journey, the Chooky Dancers etc.. Their message is powerful and simple; "our spirituality is inseparably linked to the land, we all vibrate with the planet. We are one blood”.

An alluring and compelling performer gracing many stages throughout the country. Gambirra’s soulful music reflects Social Morality, celebrating Cultural Diversity.

With a diverse musical background (rock bands, choirs, orchestras, tribal and ethnic fusion) makes her an eclectic and versatile talent. Collaborating in various musical projects performing with artists such as Declan Kelly’s Diesel N Dub, Katie Noonan, Emma Donovan, and the Sydney World Music Chamber Orchestra.

Receiving rave reviews for her unique performances, Gambirra brings together a dynamic 8 piece - The GAMBIRRA MOB. A fusion of soulful roots, world, funk and reggae. Together they bring a positive message of unity and love, leaving audiences spellbound in a dancing frenzy.

Haitch Music
Haitch is a South East Queensland musician and composer. Looking to nature for inspiration and world cultures for instruments, his uniqueness lies in the moving fusion created with both uncommon and classical instruments. Haitch started trumpet at a young age, closely followed by piano, leading into over a decade collecting world instruments that he composes and performs with today. Including Native American flutes, Yidaki (didgeridoo), slide Didge, Taishogoto, Baja, Mellophone, Tibetan singing bowls, Duclar, Overtone flutes, hand percussion, vocals and synthesizers.
