Hanworth House and Australia’s Henschke Wines have partnered for the launch of
Henschke at Hanworth - a Winter Wine Dinner
Friday 21 July 2017, 7.00pm - 11.00pm
Hanworth House, East Brisbane
Tickets: $250 per person
Dress: Luxe Winter Cocktail
Guests on the evening will enjoy a delicious gourmet dinner, perfect for a winter’s night. To enhance the dining experience each course will be expertly paired with Henschke wines. More than just a night of indulgence, 5th generation Stephen and Prue Henschke will share their wine knowledge providing an enriching experience for those with a seasoned palate and novices alike.
Henschke is an Australian-owned family winery which, for more than six generations, has been responsible for providing exceptional wines from outstanding vineyards. Johann Christian Henschke produced the estate’s first commercial vintage wine in 1868. Around this same time, Hanworth House was being built by the first Portmaster of Queensland. Like Henschke, historic Hanworth House is a premier Brisbane estate where tradition and innovation meet.
Proceeds from the Winter Wine Dinner will be donated to Mater to support important research into breast cancer and prostate cancer. Guests will have the opportunity to participate in a live auction with excellent prizes on offer. Since opening in July 2014, Hanworth House has raised more than $100,000 for Queensland charities including Women’s Legal Services Qld, Alzheimer's Queensland and Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation. Mater, in the neighbouring suburb to Hanworth, is a worthy recipient of funds from the July wine dinner.
