BPW Coffs Harbour - Meet Senator Jenny McAllister - 03 June 2017

Senator Jenny McAllister is a Senator for New South Wales and the duty Senator for the electorate of Cowper. She has a particular interest in gender equality and the issues experienced by working women.

The Senator sits on the Senate Economics Committee and recently established a Senate Inquiry into the gender gap in women’s superannuation and retirement incomes. This inquiry recently delivered its report which can be viewed online. Currently the Senator is working on a second Senate Inquiry into gender segregation in the workforce (you can find more information about the inquiry here) and would love the opportunity to discuss this with women in Coffs Harbour. She also recently concluded her Senate Inquiry into Economic Security for Women in Retirement.
