Ngarigo woman and artist Gail Neuss will read "Little Bird's Day", a story by renowned Indigenous children’s author Sally Morgan, a Palyku woman from the Pilbara. Little Bird's Day is exquisitely illustrated by Johnny Warrkatja Malibirr – Yolgnu man from the Ganalbingu clan.

Take inspiration from this story and the pictures to create a kurrajong pod bird using feathers and paint pens to decorate .

“Time to wake little bird, time to sing the world alive “

Recommended ages 4 - 7 years. Parent/Carer must stay for the duration of the workshop. Due to restricted numbers, please book only one adult per child. 

Guidelines under COVID-19. Parent/Carer will need to check in upon arrival using the Check In CBR app. Hand washing facilities and sanitiser will be available. Indoor COVID ratios apply. If any children or adults are unwell, we ask that you stay at home.
