Knowing what students already know and what they need to learn next is integral to effective differentiation in diverse-ability classrooms. It is impossible to differentiate without being able to use pre and formative assessment in a way that is quick, efficient and timely, and to efficiently collect and use information gathered to adjust teaching goals and programs. This workshop will explore pre and formative assessment ideas, as well as ways to make methods for collecting and using pre and formative data to inform teaching.

Sign-in from 3.30pm.  Afternoon tea will be provided.
