The Cake & Cordial Sessions is a mini-festival celebration of alt-country singer songwriter goodness, in the family friendly environment of your local bowlo.

The buzz event of the Tamworth Country Music Festival, Cake & Cordial Sessions is now bringing tasty musical treats to the Brisbane Suburbs and features artists Kelly Cork, Megan Cooper, Paddy McHugh and Golden Guitar winner Fanny Lumsden... with a little help from their friends.

This smorgasbord of fine artists will feature an entrée of free lawn bowls, a beautiful vintage hall and included in your tickets is a buffet of sweet treats and cool cordial. Homemade winter warmer refreshments will be available for purchase from the club and then there's the beauty of early 1990s bar prices!

Where: Ashgrove Bowls Club, Yoku Road, Ashgrove

When: Friday, 28 July 2017. Lawn bowls and food from 6pm. Music from 7pm(ish)

How much: Single Tix $30. Party of four $100. Kids under 12 are free. Cash only at the door.

If you fancy a little savoury, the kitchen will have a sausage sizzle and a vego chilli option on offer. Cash only. Fancy Sausage Sizzle or Vego Chilli. $5 each.
