Australian legend Charlie McMahon is making his debut at Django Bar!

After losing his arm at the age 16, Charlie soon mastered his prosthetic ‘hook’ arm ,and his desire to experiment led him to invent new concepts of playing didjeridu such as the pitch change didjeribone that has enhanced the potential for didjeridu in contemporary music.

Founder of the award winning Gondwanaland, Charlie has performed on the film sound tracks of Mad Max and Priscilla Queen of the Desert while his live collaborations include a diverse palette including Ted Egan, Carlos Peron, Jane's Addiction, Bart Willoughby, and Midnight Oil to name a few.
