Macrame Workshop

Come and join Amy from @theknot_collective for an evening of macramé. Macramé is the ancient art of knotting. It was hugely popular in the 70’s and has recently made resurgence, predominantly in the form of wall hangings & plant hangers.

In this 3 hour workshop you’ll learn the basic knots of macramé to create your own wall hanging masterpiece.

What you are provided with:

• ·Natural soft cotton 4mm twisted cotton rope
• ·A piece of locally sourced driftwood

You have the option to purchase a single ticket, or come along with a friend and receive a discounted price of $135 for 2 tickets.

About Amy Edwards

Amy is a Sydney basked creative specialising in creative workshops. She has a diploma in Fashion design, but has always had a soft spot for hand crafts and has been knitting since a young age – taught by her Mother & Grandmother.

After getting caught up in the busy Sydney lifestyle she started exploring more crafts as a way to unwind and find some calm at the end of a busy day. Feeling the benefits of these creative outlets she decided to start ‘The Knot Collective”.
