Event Details

Micro Theatre is an independent festival of short plays performed in intimate spaces such as cafés and small art galleries in Newcastle - where the venue is the stage.  Immerse yourself in the story as the action takes place around you.

The four short plays to be performed at Vinyl Café each night are:-

1.  History Lesson, written by Simon Tonkin

2. Space Commander Verses the Mud Monsters, written by Frank Leggett

3. Dinner for Two, written by Danielle Asquith

4. The Interview, written by Sally Davies

Seating is on a first come, first served basis.

Micro Theatre is also a competition with over $4,000 in prize money being presented to the successful plays.  Each venue also has an audience favourite award you can vote for.
