Derek and Fiona Smith of Working With Nature, have recently installed a sprouted barley production shed on their property at Guyra.

This field day will be hosted by Southern New England Landcare Ltd in partnership with Working With Nature, and the 2017 UNE Rural Science Agricultural Extension student team.

Guest speakers will talk about production of the sprouted barley and animal nutrition, and participants will take a tour of the shed, along with ample opportunity for networking. Morning tea and lunch will be provided, kindly sponsored by Elders.
