Acrylic Abstract Art Workshop

Acrylic Abstract Art with Maggi McDonald.

In this class you will create your very own abstract artwork on a 35cm square canvas using acrylic and flow acrylic paint. Starting with a practice artwork on paper before we move onto canvas, Maggi will guide you through the process of creating your own abstract artwork.

During class Maggi will touch on colour mixing, painting techniques and artwork composition. 

No experience necessary.

Our workshop tickets are non refundable, but if you are aware you will be unable to attend, you may pass your ticket to someone else you wish to come in your place.

In the event you forget to come or you are unable to attend a workshop, the ticket is non transferable after the event.

About Maggi McDonald...

Maggie is an artist & surface designer based in Sydney, Australia.

Art has always played a part in her life but it's not until 3 years ago when she went back to school to study design that she rediscovered her love of painting. Maggi decided to embrace her creative path and she now paints full time.

Nature is a constant inspiration in Maggi's work and her brightly coloured abstract gardens and landscapes are inspired by the natural beauty of her adopted country Australia, and South Africa where she grew up. Maggi was born in Cape Town and lived in London before settling in Sydney. Maggi loves traveling and learning about world cultures and in particular the symbols and patterns used in textiles and art.When Maggi is not painting she designs surface patterns as a freelance designer with her first collection Collected recently released exclusively through Emily Ziz Style Studio in Paddington.
