Recognised as the leading course for young women who are interested in pursuing a jazz career, join students and tutors of the 2017 Young Women's Jazz Workshops for their grand finale graduating concert.

ABC Jazz is proud to be a longstanding Media Partner of the Young Women's Jazz Workshops and will be awarding prizes for Most Improved on the evening.

Enjoy an evening of energetic jazz with two ensembles of exciting young soloists, led by two of Sydney's best known jazz artists, trombonist Alex Silver and trumpeter and composer Ellen Kirkwood.

With ages ranging 14 years and over, participants have honed their jazz skills in brass, percussion, strings, vocals and more over the course led by Alex and Ellen, and the tutelage of greats such as Monique Lysiak, Hannah James and Sandy Evans.
