In celebration of National Ag Week 2021, PIEFA will be hosting twenty nation-wide live Farmer Time sessions for students from Foundation to Year 12, showcasing producers from a broad range of food and fibre industries.

The focus of these sessions is to assist students to develop an understanding of the importance of Australia's primary industries.

This 10-15 minute session is designed for students in Years Foundation-2 and explores the features and needs of plants grown for food and fibre production.

Students will hear from Farmer Jake, an experienced grains producer from Queensland, all about life on the farm and the tasks he performs day-to-day. Farmer Jake will describe the journey that grains make from paddock to finished product.
