Join us as AIM students perform a selection of songs from some of the greatest Australian artists of all time.

Australia has produced an incredible catalogue of songs from an amazing array of artists since the emergence of rock music in the 60s.

‘The Best of Aussie Rock’ will showcase a set list to explore this musical history with the repertoire chosen from some of Australia’s finest music legends including Hunters and Collectors, INXS, John Farnham, Paul Kelly, Silverchair, Midnight Oil, Cold Chisel, Jet, Bernard Fanning, Yothu Yindi, Men at Work, and The John Butler Trio, just to name a few. A selection of current Australian artists will also be represented, showcasing the ever-developing Australian Music industry.

‘Aussie Rock’ will allow students to develop their understanding of the concepts of music and music as an art form by experiencing this performance, presented in its cultural and historical context.
