This isn't this duo's first time in the Mountains, Warwick Hargreaves & Tina Fullerton are a favourite of 'Music in the Mountains' having played at Hotel Blue in Katoomba last year. OUT of ABINGDON have built a unique sound filtered from influences including Stevie Ray Vaughan, Kenny Burrell, Bjork and Nina Simone, their understated elegance draws the listener in. Smooth, effortless and a little beatnik, this duo bring a sense of COOL everywhere they go. Tina’s ethereal vocals and grooving double bass accompanied by Warwick’s fearless expressive guitar sounds and husky voice creates a sensual, soulful atmosphere and stage presence that's smoking hot!

From their home base in Brisbane, Australia, OUT of ABINGDON successfully completed their 3rd European and UK tour last year, playing venues throughout Scotland, England, Belgium, Paris and Berlin. They have played well over 700 gigs together in the last 8 years, at festivals including the Edinburgh Fringe, Brisbane International Jazz, Noosa Jazz and the Illawarra Folk, Gold Coast Acoustic, Gulgong Folk, Bellingen Turtle and Neurum Creek Music Festivals to theatres, clubs, bars, cafes, private and corporate functions in Brisbane and East Coast Australia, also playing as guest artists aboard P&O Cruise's Pacific Aria in 2015.

OUT of ABINGDON had, until recently, independently recorded & released three albums. ‘Journeys’ debuted in 2011 at The Brisbane Jazz Club, and ‘OUT of ABINGDON live’ was recorded in ‘the Basement’ Sydney and the ‘Brisbane Jazz Club’ and released in 2012. 2014 saw the release of their first official video ‘3 Piece Suit’ and CD ‘Small Steps’. All albums continue to receive National airplay, lovely feedback from their growing fan base and always sell well at their many live shows.

Inspired by extensive touring both Nationally and Internationally over the last couple of years, Warwick and Tina have collaborated in writing tales of everyday urban life, love, and dreams for a new album… ‘Another Story’ is a collection of original songs and musings written around their river city home by the Story Bridge. After the launch of their 4th album in September 2017, they hit the road for an Album tour, taking in the Blue Mountains on Saturday, October 28th.
