Heartfelt, genuine and commanding, the multi-talented Sharny Russell will be presenting her beautiful new album “Comes a Time”. An ABC jazz artist who is highly respected among her peers, and is an APRA Jazz Award winner, Sharny’s repertoire is fresh and original, whilst divinely musical and accessible for new fans of the jazz genre. Eric Myers (The Australian) said of Sharny that while she is definitively Australia’s answer to Diana Krall, she is unique in that she performs exquisite unison piano and voice improvisations. Sharny has a rare intimacy with her audiences.

One of Australia's finest jazz singers, pianists and composers, joined on stage by a top lineup of family and friends!

“…. standards alongside superbly written originals, all voiced by a superior singer.” Barry O’Sullivan, Jazz Australia

“Her latest album is a collection of high-spirited soulful songs, in the best ‘classic jazz’ tradition, the one that the singer/pianist knows all too well, and delivers with warmth, charm and perkiness.”Nik Fotakis, Australianjazz.net
