You are warmly invited to enjoy a very special one-off performance of 'A Summers Night In Paris' set within the backdrop of a secret CBD warehouse location.
The night celebrates the official launch of Cathrine's month long online 'Album for Overseas' Pozible crowdfunding campaign.
You will be able to get lost in the magic of Paris, enjoying a lively Parisian jazz-club night. Kickback and listen to Cathrine Summers and her full 6-piece jazz band as they perform French classics and jazz standards weaved around a rich musical history of love and Paris in the 30’s. Songs such as Ella Fitzgerald’s ‘April in Paris’, Edith Piaf’s ‘La Vie En Rose’ and ‘Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien’ and many more.
Shortly after the purchase of your tickets the location will be sent to you along with further details about the exciting things happening at this fabulous evening.
What is the Pozible Campaign For?
The goal of the crowdfunding campaign called 'Album for Overseas' is to raise enough money so that Cathrine Summers can pay for a professional studio album, a showcase video of the 6-piece jazz band and pay for some publicity in order to make the most of her exciting upcoming opportunity which sees her head to the UK to perform alongside the likes of Katherine Jenkins, Alfie Boe, The Three Tenors, Jonathon Welch, Julien Lloyd Webber and more.
Simply, Cathrine needs the album, video and publicity with her in tow when she goes to the UK. There are often agents in the audiences and, if EVER there was a time to take the next step in her roller-coaster career as a musician - this is it!!
On the night... if you wish... you will have the chance to go online and purchase one of the rewards on the Pozible fundraising page. There are a number of different things you can advance purchase, like a limited-edition vinyl, a limited-edition CD or 5. There’s even a chance to purchase a performance in your own home!
Day & Date: Thursday 2nd November
Times: 6.45pm Doors | 7.30pm Show
Seated Tickets: $32.50
Other Event Info: Food & Beverages served on the night - so come hungry!
She's acclaimed for her honeyed vocals but is more than just another jazz singer, she’s engaging tender, passionate and captivating. The UK-born artist spent much of her youth living and holidaying in France where she fostered a love of the French language and a deep appreciation of the countries passionate history and romanticism.
Cathrine has appeared alongside the likes of Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Marina Prior, Ronan Keating and David Hobson to name a few but, that doesn’t seem to faze the girl that Perth has claimed as their very own jazz songstress.. You'll feel as if you were there when these songs were written.
“The quality that sets Cathrine apart from other singers is that people of all ages feel ‘instantly familiar’ with her and soak up her banter and on-stage charisma.”Where
