What age group does this suit?

Birth-12mths of age

What do I bring?

• A towel for your child to lay on
• Nappies, supplies etc for your child
• A sealed drink bottle for yourself
• Any creams/massage oil you like to use currently

I haven't done any baby massage before. Will this workshop be ok for us?

YES! This Introductory Workshop gives you the basics to get started with Baby Massage. You will learn numerous techniques covering various body areas, how to make massage fun, when to massage, massage oil safety and much more.

Why is Baby Massage a useful tool for parents?

Massage stimulates the production of endorphins which are calming for the nervous system and will enhance moods (don't we need that!).

• excellent for pre-term infants
• improves wind/reflux/constipation/colic
• relieving sinus and/or congestion

What is included in the workshop?

• One hour of learning in a small group setting
• Cheat sheet and cue cards
• Teaching for one child and up to two parents/carers is included
• NOTE - massage oil will be available for purchase at $6 per 50ml bottle.

• Massage techniques for the legs, belly, back and chest
• Ways to assist the digestive system (great for those on solids!)
• Ways to calm the nervous system
• Fun ways to connect with your baby with massage
