One of the last albums to be recorded and mixed at Brian Campeau’s renowned Plex Recording Studio in St Peters, Against The Tide is Bronwyn’s second release and her first full-length album.

Her music never strays too far from a love of language and performance, and her songs track the winding paths of heart and mind, from the sparse desert to the raucous streets.

Bronwyn’s archtop guitar with subtle tremolo plays well with the colours of her voice. This brings her new songs to a different space, delightful and charming, somewhere between folk and jazz and melodic country rock. Her band has warmed to these unique songs and adds layers of drama and beauty.

This year Bronwyn celebrates her birthday and the album release on the one Django-inspired evening. Supported by Alice Terry. Come! Join the party!

Every ticket receives the new album. Free!

Alice Terry sounds like she’s had three husbands and killed them all.

Since leaving her small coastal town of Moruya, Terry has impressed her ever-growing audiences with her big voice and beautiful songs, and has deservedly earned the title of ‘Sydney’s first lady of blues’. She effortlessly combines the best parts of folk, jazz and blues, and creates this music which is both sexy and heartbreaking all at the same time.
