You may have been to a "Comedy in the Pub", or a Trivia Night, this event - although not in a pub - aims to recreate the same sort of relaxed atmosphere.

This event will provide an opportunity for those interested in Women's activism and reclaiming (in)visible women in both a context of the NSW/ National History curriculum, and the Federation/AEU History to learn more of the past. It will provide a 'social' forum to interact with an expert panel of experienced historians and history teachers, and to network with likeminded colleagues.

The event will run from 4 - 6pm (although the bar will be open from 3.45-6.30) and will be held on level one at AEU ACT headquarters, where light refreshments and finger food will be available in a 'pub style' setting.

The event is being run for members of the NSW Teachers Federation and the Australian Education Union ACT Branch. In purchasing tickets you will be asked to confirm this for yourself, and the other members of your group if a group booking. If you have an enquiry in regard to this or other aspects of the event, please ring CPL on 92172342.

If you are interested in this event, you may also be interested in attending Women in History: Reclaiming (In)Visible Women, a professional learning course exclusively for Federation and AEU ACT members.

The panel will be made up of:
