Join us for this 'come & try' session of - Qigong Shibashi (stationary Tai Chi), presented by Knox U3A, as part of our launch day activities for 'Grow Old Gloriously!' - Knox Seniors Festival 2022.

The Far East has practiced a self-healing method that requires no strength, no effort, and very little time. It is so safe that the elderly use it even to this day. Qigong Shibashi has been called 'stationary' Tai Chi. That doesn't mean there is no movement, but rather refers to the fact that the movement takes very little space to practice. The tutor will guide the class through these exercises which are gentle, beautiful and flowing. They are deeply relaxing and a joy to do.

It is a condition of booking that each participant completes a ‘Come and Try-Waiver Form’ prior to entering their chosen activity.

Forms can be completed online and emailed to cplc@knox.vic.gov.au or handed to reception staff at the relevant venue on the day of your activity.

If you are unable to complete the form online, please arrive to your chosen activity 15 minutes early to allow for time to complete the form in person.

Only those who have completed the ‘Come and Try- Waiver Form’ will be permitted to participate in Come and Try Activities. This form is only required for physical/fitness activities.

If you require further information on the ‘Come and Try-Waiver Form’, please phone 9763 8455.
