This professional development workshop is for anyone in the emergency management or community sector that manages information and/or communicates with members of the community during times when communities are under stress.
Using the best-practice Communicating in Recovery guide the workshop looks at communicating within a disaster context.
The workshop will explore communications strategies to help overcome the physical and psychological challenges affected communities may face during and after a disaster.
