The Five Dysfunctions of a Team:

A Workshop for Building High-Performance Teams

“Not finance. Not strategy. Not technology. It is teamwork that remains the ultimate competitive advantage, both because it is so powerful and so rare.” - Patrick Lencioni

If you're a local small business owner or a manager/team leader, this is an ideal opportunity to take some very tangible steps to improve the cohesion and functioning of your team, and in so doing prepare your team for success in 2018!

By attending this highly-interactive workshop, you will:

  • walk away with a solid understanding of what it takes to build and sustain a cohesive and effective team, based on Patrick Lencioni's Five Dysfunctions of a Team model (for an overview of the model, check out Greg's blog post here)
  • have the opportunity to consider the extent to which your team presently meets the expectations for a truly cohesive team
  • be equipped with a range of strategies to enable you to address current shortfalls or issues that may be impacting team performance, and
  • identify and plan the "next steps" to improve the cohesion and functioning of your team by:
    • Building trust
    • Mastering conflict
    • Achieving commitment
    • Embracing accountability, and
    • Focusing on results.

Need convincing? Check out the some of the participant feedback from previous workshops:

“It’s so refreshing to listen to someone that not only knows the subject matter but has actually used it in a business sense. Even having traveled for the training, I wasn’t watching the clock to get out of there.Well done!!”

“5 steps: easy to understand structure…this is something I can really use”

“I was fascinated to see the pyramid of five dysfunctions explained. It was a simple model that was easy to discuss and work with”

“The workshop was engaging and opens up the building blocks for a successful team”

“Session materials and content all excellent”
