This Meeting will be conducted under the current Formula 500's Australia Inc. Supplementary Racing Regulations, Australian Speedway Racing Rules and Regulations and these Supplementary Regulations.

ENTRY

Drivers wishing to enter the venues must be familiar with the above mentioned Rules and Regulations.

The Race Sponsor & the Organizing Committee reserve the right to refuse any nominations

ENTRY FOR MEETING

·All Nominations to be completed online

·Nominations will be open until Sunday 2nd Feb 2025 5pm 

Late Nominations will start heats in the field

WITHDRAWING FROM A RACE MEETING

·Drivers must notify the co-ordinator prior to sign-in deadline on the day of racing.

SIGN-IN

·Race car must be in the pits when driver signs in.

·All entered drivers must sign-in at the club trailer between the sign-in time before 3.00pm (times may change, keep an eye on social media leading up to event)

·Any driver who does not sign-in on race day by the sign-in deadline will be deemed as a late entry and will start ROF for heats.

RACE FORMAT - 1 Night only

RACE FORMAT IS SUBJECT TO CAR NUMBERS

Each driver will be allocated into qualifying/heat group

Time Trials: Each car will take 3 timed laps, with up to 6 cars on track, 2 groups per heat. You will time against your heat group only.

Heat Race: 1 Heat race, 8 laps in distance, with a top 6 invert based on time trial results.

Mid pack shootout will be 6 laps, point positions 7-14 will race heads up for 6 laps, top 2 transfer to the shootout. Non transferring cars will fill A main starting positions 9-14.

All other cars line up based on points from position 15 onwards.

Shootout will be 6 laps, point positions 1-6 will line up based on points from qualifying & heat plus top 2 transferring cars from mid pack shootout start position 7 & 8

Finishing order from Shootout will determine A main starting positions 1 - 8

A main 15-20 laps, will start 24 cars, top 16 in points will qualify directly into A main

B main (if required) 10 laps, top 8 transfer to back on A main

Any tied points will be determined by fastest lap time in the time trials on the night as determined by the timing system.

Points will be awarded as follows:

A Main Points - for Club Season Points

1st - 36 5th - 26 9th - 18 13th - 14 17th - 10

2nd - 33 6th - 24 10th - 17 14th - 13 18th - 9

3rd - 30 7th - 22 11th - 16 15th - 12

4th - 28 8th - 20 12th - 15 16th - 11


Trophies 

Drivers who finish 1st, 2nd or 3rd in A Main will receive trophies each night.

Trophy/board presented for -

Overall quicktime from qualifying round

Shootout winner 

Hard charger in A Main (based on original starting position)

Club Points are based on Heats & A Main finishing positions. If a driver records a DNS, DNF or is DSQ for any race, they will receive 0 series points for that particular race.

All cars must display meeting Series sticker on top wing on the outside left side panel. (Stickers will be provided). Failure to do so will result in no points & prize money for the round.

All cars must display meeting sponsors sticker/s. All sponsor stickers also must be display on top wing outside left side panel. (Stickers will be provided). Failure to do so will result in no points or prize money.

LICENCES

Each accepted driver must produce a current Speedway Australia Licence at sign-in.

LAPPED CARS

On all race restarts lapped cars will take their place at the rear of the field.

PRESENTATIONS

Presentations for 1st to 3rd in the A-Main will be held either on the track infield after conclusion of A main or at club trailer immediately after the final race of the night

All drivers and crew are welcome to attend presentations.

To be eligible for all prizes you must attend end of night presentations.

TRANSPONDERS

Electronic timing Transponders will be used.

Drivers will be responsible for lost or damaged hired transponders or any hired transponder not returned.

Any car not having a working transponder may not be lap scored.

Any car crossing the start/finish line under the pole line may not be lap scored.

RACECEIVERS

All drivers must race with a working Raceceiver (and ear pieces).

The Brisbane Formula 500 Club and/or the Event Co-ordinator may amend parts of these supplementary regulations.

Sign-in times may change, all nominated drivers will be advised via text message of any changes.

All race results will be uploaded on www.mylaps.com as soon as possible after each meeting.

"Verbal and physical abuse of any official or other competitors, and deliberately distracting or provoking others is not acceptable or permissible behaviour.

Competitors are responsible for their own conduct as well as the conduct of any person associated with them, such as pit crews, vehicle owners and sponsors.
