Join us as Eastern Riverina Arts kicks off 2018 with its first PRACTICE for the year.

Melania Jack and Patty Preece (Patty Bom) are popping into the office to talk all things art, music, the 'industry' and ... ironing

Melina, Patty and their team are in town to present Thursday's The Ironing Maidens gig at Splash Laundromat and their Electronic Music Production workshop at the Museum of the Riverina.

The Ironing Maidens is a live electronic music performance art piece in which traditional domestic irons and ironing boards have been adapted and built to create sound and effect triggers for the music and the projected visuals of the show.

Melania Jack and Patty Preece are music technology educators and have over 10 years' experience co-facilitating workshops. They have worked with a variety of participants of all ages, skill levels and cultural backgrounds. They facilitate a well rounded workshop program with activities that deliver not only the educational material, but also foster creative thinking and a positive team environment.

The Ironing Maidens regional tour is presented by Shiny Shiny Productions and supported by the NSW Government through Create NSW
