Melbourne School of Theology's Paradosis Conference for 2018
Christian Ethics Today:
How Then Shall we Live? Engaging Society with the Disarming Beauty and Timeless Truths of the Christian Faith.
Christians in Australia are facing serious ethical issues. How are we to respond to same-sex marriage, the assisted dying bill, gender fluidity, and attempts to censor Jesus-talk in the schoolyard?
This conference seeks to draw us into reflecting deeply on our lives as Christians in this strange new age of post-Christian Australia. Our expert panel of speakers takes up the challenge to explore the foundations and practice of Christian ethics and its implications for the Church, ministry, mission, the academy, and our personal contexts. This day-conference is designed for pastors, scholars and – really – every Christian who wants to wrestle Biblically and creatively with the urgency of integrating Christian ethics for everyday life.
Please Note:
- Ticket prices include conference delegate package, morning tea, lunch & afternoon tea.
- The booking fee is all inclusive when using a Visa or Mastercard. However, American Express cards will incur an additional 1.75% surcharge.
