Embodying Intentions 2018:  Rhythm & Movement for Evolution

TaKeTiNa Rhythm Process with Michael Kokinos

Melbourne JAN 27/28

With our world constantly in flux, our environment changing, periods of chaos in our lives inevitable... how do we stay true to our core and what’s most alive in our heart...holding our highest aspirations, and staying connected, even in times when things are falling apart?

How do we stay authentically connected to what’s resonating in the centre? ... to feel it, find it, listen to it’s subtle voice.. and bring this deepest part of ourselves into our embodied, physical world.

As the year begins many of us are determined to make positive changes in our lives and the world… we set personal resolutions of things we’d like to see happen in the year ahead. Yet all too often these resolutions fade into the background as the stresses and hectic pace of modern life overtake us.

In this 2 day workshop, using the powerful tools of poly-rhythm, voice, movement, and somatic awareness we will create a container to connect with our core, and activate our intentions for 2018 and beyond. TaKeTiNa Rhythm Process invites us into a state of profound stillness, a time beyond time, where we drop into deep connection, and practice ways of staying centered and in flow.. even in the midst of significant chaos.

Here we have the opportunity to observe ourselves, in a safe and nurturing space, always journeying at one’s own pace. Does change and chaos make us more rigid and held? … do we withdraw and let go?, ... or are we able to dance within it all and still hold our intentions and authenticity?

Participation in a TaKeTiNa circle leads to a perceptive state which can be described as ‘simultaneous awareness’. Poly-rhythm -has been used for millennia among all cultures as a tool for healing, celebrating, and evolving our true nature. We invite you to join us for this special event in the beautiful pentagonal studio at the Michael’s Centre in Warranwood.

About the Venue:

Situated in a beautiful bush setting in Warranwood, the Michael Centre was designed by renowned Australian architect, Greg Burgess. The venue provides the perfect setting for TaKeTiNa journeys and is a comfortable air-conditioned space.

"Rhythm is one of the most ancient and efficient ways to influence and develop human consciousness. In our globally-networked and technologically-focussed world, human beings often lose touch with their own internal rhythms, making them feel displaced and de-synchronized. TaKeTiNa allows them to reconnect with the healing powers of rhythm and primordial motion. Social, mental, creative, spiritual and of course musical faculties are reawakened and developed with the practice of TaKeTiNa."

- Reinhard Flatischler (Founder of the TaKeTiNa Process)
