We are so excited to announce the second Sunshine Coast Latin Dance Festival celebrating Latin dancing at its very best. The three-day community event goes from Friday, 11 to Sunday, 13 May 2018.

The Sunshine Coast Latin Dance Festival is in honour of a beautiful soul and fellow Latin dancer, Kari-Lee Birrell (nee Venning). 4 years ago we lost this angel to Cystic Fibrosis. In honour of Kari-Lee together with Cystic Fibrosis Queensland and Kari-Lee’s parents our goal is to raise funds for the 55 people and their families who live with Cystic Fibrosis on the Sunshine Coast.

2018 Festival outline:

• Friday Night, 11 May – Latin Dance Party 
• Saturday, 12 May – Latin dance workshops (20 workshops approx) taught by World and Australia’s renowned Dance Instructors
• Saturday Night, 12 May – “Gala Charity Dinner and Stage Show Ball”, cabaret style seating and world class Latin Dance Showcase, followed by a dance party to continue the night away. Plus, lots of little surprises during the night.
• Sunday, 13 May – Latin Beach Party with Latin food and loads of fun installed

Plus...  Samba Immersion Workshops on Friday (additional entry fee)
AND introducting the  2018 Australasian Samba Queen Competition on Saturday
