chakra movement meditation & sound workshop
a unique opportunity to balance your chakras through
the movement of kundalini yoga, the stillness of meditation, the rhythms of music & mantra,
deep relaxation sound meditation with immersion in the sonic vibrations of gongs and singing bowls.
You will learn
What the ancient energetic chakra system is,
How to assess imbalances,
How to identify strengths and weaknesses,
Healing practices to restore equilibrium and flow.
You will learn rhythmic sequences of movement specific to each chakra
Breathing exercises - pranayama
Primal sound chanting to stimulate / calm chakra energy
And best of all - you will receive a complete chakra sound bath soothing and elevating your whole being.
Chakra Sound : deep relaxation sound healing
a sonic landscape of primal rhythms, harmonic gongs, bronze and crystal singing bowls,
therapeutic percussion, elevating chimes and voice
to connect with your essential chakra energy centres for balance and bliss.
Being immersed in an ocean of sound allows healing to occur at a deep level.
The sonic vibrations of these instruments of sound help to clear negativity and old habits
leaving you receptive for new ideas to emerge with the pure tones of quartz crystal.
Breath and gentle movement will help you open to the healing effects of the sound,
supporting you in your journey through chakra specific sequences
delivered by a qualified sound therapist.
Please bring a shawl or blanket to cover yourself during deep relaxation and water to drink ~
whatever you need to be completely comfortable.
The sound session will be followed by nourishing chai, chat and healthy snacks to allow you time to ground before leaving and to connect with others in our Urban Soul community.
