SheSociety's International Women's Day Lunch

SheSociety invites you to its second International Women's Day Lunch to celebrate the world's women with our MC, Sharyn Ghidella . The lunch includes an entree and main course as well as a beverage on arrival (with a cash bar if further drinks wish to be purchased).

Funds raised from our raffles and silent auctions will go to The Allison Baden-Clay Foundation.

International Women's Day is celebrated across the world and is a global champion for women and girls. UN Women is the United Nations entity responsible for promoting women’s empowerment and gender equality and was established to accelerate progress to meet the needs of women and girls worldwide.

We are delighted to announce that Anoushka Dowling will be a guest speaker at this years luncheon. Anoushka is a Bachelor of Behavioural Studies graduate, majoring in Psychology. She has worked in Human Resources for the Department of Education and Training for the last seven years with a focus on Employee Relations roles that enabled her to further understand drivers of human behaviour. Anoushka has a passion for social issues, particularly around gender equality and violence against women thus, working with Griffith University on the MATE program in the primary prevention space has been a natural transition. Anoushka excels at facilitating training that promotes attitudinal change through critical thinking and analysis of the status quo.
