Frankie Armstrong - legendary British folksinger, "Godmother of the Natural Voice Movement" and workshop leader par excellence presents her take on some of the most powerful and theatrical songs of the 20th Century. Bertolt Brecht wrote such classics as Surabaya Johnny, Mack the Knife, Pirate Jenny and Alabama Song with composers Kurt Weill and Hans Eisler. Hear Frankie, at the height of her interpretive powers, bring these all-too-relevant masterpieces to life for the first time in Australia.

Supported by vocal trio The Shwa: sparkling vocal harmonies and musical globe-trotting. Jess Ciampa, Christina Mimmocchi and Lisa Cartwright.
