a wish upon a star

Join us under the stars as the enduring quest for perfection takes hold of five very different characters.
Borrowing from well-known fairy tales, musicals and stories Tantrum Youth Arts weaves together a unique story of love, loss, hope, fear, ambition, despair, and triumph. Redefining romance for the modern age.

Tantrum Youth Arts presents The One in collaboration with the University of Newcastle’s Community Strings and brings an ensemble of young, emerging and professional artists together in the creation of this daring, fresh and heart-felt new theatre production.

Please note: This is an outdoor performance, taking place in and around the Rotunda in King Edward park. Seating is provided for all audience members. Please wear warm clothing.
