Forbes International Women's Day 2018 Breakfast

On International Women’s Day, we celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women in our own community and in every corner of the world. For the second year running, Forbes will celebrate International Women’s Day with a breakfast event by the Lake Forbes foreshore. You are warmly invited to join us as we enjoy locally prepared food and are entertained by popular comedian and guest speaker Jean Kittson, who we are very excited to welcome back to Forbes! Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in an early morning yoga session.* Forbes International Women’s Day Breakfast is proudly hosted by Forbes Shire Council, with the generous support of the Forbes Business Chamber, the Department of Primary Industries and Rural Adversity Mental Health Program.

*Yoga session begins at 6.30 and will run for approximately 45mins. Participants are asked to bring their own towel or mat for the activity, as supplied mats are limited.
