INTERNATIONAL SINGER AND SOPRANO MIRUSIA LOUWERSE

Caroline Russo Enterprises is very pleased to announce the kick off for 2018 of Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner? with a very special guest the talented international Soprano, Mirusia Louwerse, to be held on April 18 at the Wedding and Function  Gardens at 104 Beacon Rd, Tamborine Mountain, Queensland.

Mirusa Louwerse was born in Brisbane, Australia, and graduated in December 2006 from the Queensland Conservatorium, obtaining a Bachelor of Music in Performance and Classical Voice. That same year, Louwerse became the youngest winner ever of the Dame Joan Sutherland Opera Award and went on to record her debut EP, She Walks In Beauty.

Her success story has truly been an amazing journey. One of her landmark moments was being selected by the world famous Dutch conductor and violinist André Rieu for whom she has been his star soprano since 2007.

Mirusa has many wonderful stories to share from her journey, chronicling her rise to become an international star including numerous performances at many prestigious events around the world.

Mirusia also has recorded a number of albums, including her own solo album Always & Forever, released in Australia on 8 October 2010. The album went straight to No. 17 on the ARIA pop charts.

Always & Forever was released in the Netherlands during December 2010, and on DVD in March 2011. It stayed at the No 1 position on the ARIA DVD charts for 4 weeks. In 2012 Mirusa Louwerse won the ARIA No. 1 Chart Award for Always & Forever being the first and only classical artist ever to receive the award.

In 2015, Mirusia Louwerse married her long-term boyfriend Youri Wystyrk. The wedding was a much-celebrated affair with André Rieu writing a special piece of music and filming a video clip of the pair before their wedding. December 2017 was yet another busy year which highlighted the successful recording and international tour of her newest album "From The Heart”.

In another highlight, Mirusia and Youri also became proud parents on the 8th of December when Mirusia gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Sascha!

We are very excited to have Mirusia as our special guest just before she sets off on a national tour for her new album. This will be a great way to get up close and personal with Mirusa’s journey as she speaks about some of her wonderful achievements and sharing some great stories throughout the dinner. To conclude the evening will be also treated to a performance consisting of two songs from Mirusa’s latest album, "From the Heart”. This is set to be a wonderful treat for all who will be at Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner?
CDs, will be signed by Mirusa herself, that will be for sale during the evening.

 All  guests will receive a drink on arrival, and a 3 course meal with coffee and tea. A cash bar will be running on the night.

Our charity of choice is the Rural Fire Brigade who provide an amazing service to our community. A wine auction to be held, courtesy of Mr. John Penglas who is a venue partner. . On the night we shall also have a raffle ticket draw with some great prizes to be won to aid for the Fire Brigade.
Tickets can be purchased at $89 per head plus booking fee at sticky events. Each guest will receive a DVD from our sponsor, Icon Films.
