This ‘Coming of Age & Menstrual Education’ workshop is suitable for ANY MAN interested in deepening his understanding of women’s nature and the wisdom of the cycles but also has some focus points on raising daughters.

The main topics of this 4 hour workshop:

• Puberty and the importance of honouring Rites of Passage (ROP)
• Menstruation
  • What is happening throughout a woman’s cycles on a physical, energetic and emotional level?
  • How can you support your daughter (or any women in your life) to cultivate a positive attitude towards her periods? And how can you align with the women in your life throughout their cycle. This is also amazing knowledge to be shared to raise open minded boys.
  • Red Tent traditions
• Wisdom of the Cycles
  • Deepen your understanding of nature’s cycles and how profoundly they affect us (Life Cycle, Cycle of the Earth Seasons, Moon Cycles, Menstruation Cycles, Cycle of the Day...) How do they all relate, interact and inform us? How can they be used to increase our health?
• What did YOUR PUBERTY teach you about being a man?
  • Each ROP brings significant transformations with it. What we experience throughout this time has a big impact on us and forms our beliefs of what is expected from us in our next chapter of life! What happened during your ROP and what impact did that have on you?
• Understanding the big impact a dad (male caretaker) has in his daughters life!
  • Fathers shape their daughters identity about what it means to be a woman, and how to expect to be treated for being one…
  • Dad / daughter conversation and listening skills.
  • Bringing more awareness and understanding to the big transformation teenagers are going through.

Note: The insights of these topics can easily be adapted to any relationship. It can be applied to father / son relationships or used as an inspiration for any man / woman relationships and can help to create more conscious and open communications.

What are we NOT doing?

• We are not talking about challenges between adults and teenagers or any behavioural conflicts.
• Social Media impacts and sexual wellbeing (unless it comes up organically).

My intention for this workshop is to create a space for open and informative conversations about coming of age and menstrual education.

I will be sharing information about becoming a woman, puberty and menstrual wellbeing. There will also be a lot of space for discussion on this broad topic within the whole group and one on one.

Everyone will be asked to agree to confidentiality before we start our afternoon together, so that we can feel safe to share openly (if we wish to do so).

Gaining an understanding of “how we women flow” can be a great step to creating healthier relationships with women in your life!

The information shared in this workshop will be a true “Eye Opener”.

Karin Lucia Gisler offers Coming of Age Circles for girls in Mullumbimby.

Due to the amazing response of the fathers who attended her ‘Dads Circles’ as part of a 6-week coming of age program Karin offers, she decided to make this content now available to the public.

Karin Lucia Gisler is a qualified mentor for girls and the creator of a 6-weeks program called ‘Coming of Age Circles for girls’. Her training was with Katherine Krueger (Journey of Young Women) who prepares women to become mentors for girls and circle facilitators in holistic Coming of Age education. Karin is also a graduate of the School of Shamanic Womancraft, a year long educational program cultivating a deep personal and spiritual connection with the Earth and the Divine Feminine.
