‘The Album Show’ started in early 2020 as an inventive and unique new approach to classic album and legacy artist repertoire presentation. Drawing from his long experience in the Australian Music community over several decades as a musician, producer and industry advocate, Michael Carpenter has been able to draw together an incredible ‘collective’ of some of the most talented musicians and vocalists in the business.

‘The Album Show’ approaches their concept shows less as ‘tribute shows’, and more as a reinvention or reinterpretation of the songs. The regularly heard catchphrase as the shows are developed is “we play the songs, not the records!!”. So you won’t necessarily see wigs and costumes at Album Show shows, but you will always hear some of the most incredible music in history, performed at the highest level by musicians who have a true passion for what they’re doing, operating at their peak.
