Reiki Level 1 workshop & attunement

The use of natural & complementary therapies is on the rise, with more people becoming interested in exploring other avenues to better their health & wellbeing. 

Also on the rise are those who feel a calling towards learning natural therapies, whether it’s for self-healing, to assist a loved one, friend or the wider community.

Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive healing technique that utilises the energy (also known as Universal Life energy) that is all around us. It has been shown to help the body heal on a wholistic level, meaning on all levels – physically, mentally, emotionally & spiritually. The wonderful thing about Reiki is that it will go to where the body needs it the most, therefore you cannot do harm when using or receiving it.

In the Level 1 workshop, we will start with the basics in order to help you understand more about Reiki & its origins:
• What is Reiki?
• The different levels of Reiki attunements
• The Principles of Reiki
• The history of Reiki as it is used today including Lineage
• What are the benefits of using Reiki

You will also learn the following techniques:
• Meditations & breathing techniques for activating chakras, self-cleansing of energies, manifestations & releasing negative energies
• traditional hands on healing techniques for self-healing as created by the founders of modern day Reiki (Dr Usui & his first generation students)

Plus you will receive your Level 1 attunement to the Reiki energy.

Also included as part of the course:
• Folder & all notes
• a manual of all techniques & hand positions as mentioned above so that you can refer back to afterwards
• a journal so that you can keep track of your progress & journey
• 2 x catch ups after completion of the workshop so that we can discuss your journey & to answer any questions that you may have
• Lunch, morning & afternoon tea including tea & coffee
