After running nine successful Small Business Expos on the Gold Coast, Logan and Brisbane, we are excited to host the Moreton Bay Region/North Brisbane Small Business Expo to bring together local businesses to SELL SELL SELL on Friday 5th October.

This is a genuine Business to Business marketplace platform that squarely kicks skills transfer and financial goals for every business owner and key industry stakeholder involved.

Over 20 industry business groups and sponsors are collaborating to put the expo on for the benefit of the small businesses in the region - WE MEAN BUSINESS SUCCESS FOR YOU.

“The Moreton Bay Region/North Brisbane Small Business Expo will feature 170 exhibition stands with 800 small business owners travelling from Brisbane City to Caboolture to attend.

There will be food trucks, live music to celebrate being small business owners - so join in the fun and do business at the same time. 

Including three speaker presentations from some of the Australia’s leading business experts.

We will also have an Information Hub and a Technology Hub where you can grab the latest information from Government Agencies and check out the latest technology from our local companies.

Expos are typically boring, disengaged events but we make ours fun – it is a real celebration that recognises the hard work that small business owners do every single day.

Haven''t been to one of our expos before, here are some tips.

Entry to the Expo is via South Pine Road - into Cribb Road - follow the signs.

Parking is directly out the front of the building or as indicated on the map below when the front parking lot is full.

Entry to the Expo is by your stickytickets booking form or a business card to hand in at the Registration booth which is hosted by the fantastic crew from Bendigo Bank.

Average time spent at the expo is 2 to 3 hours so dont rush your visit.

Please do not wear stilleto heeled shoes - we would be very pleased if you wear flat shoes as we are not on carpet.

We have food trucks and a coffee van - you will need to bring cash if you wish to purchase from these businesses - No ATM is on site.

You can network as it is a business to business expo but if you are attending - please do not bring flyers.

Doors open at 10am and you are welcome anytime as we are open till 4pm - so come along and join us anytime.

Please come with the intention to do business as our exhibitors are ready and excited to do business with you.

OUTCOMES:  2018 BRISBANE SMALL BUSINESS EXPO 

The focus of the Expo is SELL SELL SELL to help business owners put food on the table of families.

The goals for the Gold Coast Small Business Expo are:

Collaboration – with key industry stakeholders to work together to build the Expos through shared promotional actions – through this we reach 30,000 small business owners in each region– with a total reach across 5 expos to 150,000 small business owners.

Generate – to ensure each Expo grows to deliver $2 million in solid leads

Skills Transfer – to deliver pre expo workshops in ”How to sell from an exhibition stand” – generally 3 per Expo and an online option will be available too.

Charity – to promote 5 charities per Expo so they can build connections with the small business community and also fundraise

Promotion – to provide a pop up shop one day a year to primarily invisible businesses – homebased, micro, mobile and online and also to identify innovative products and services – new businesses to the media. To also invite all levels of Government to the official opening at each Level so they can engage with the small business community.

Inform – to provide attendees with an information Hub and a Technology Hub so small business owners can get the latest products and services from all levels of Government in a face to face format and undertake activities to ensure they are up to date with compliance, new funding, digital audits, new legislation

Celebration – B2B marketplaces have become annual events for the small business community to celebrate their hard work each year – we include a festive atmosphere with live music and foodtrucks so attendees can come along and network and grab a bite to eat.

Platform – to provide a platform for all small business owners to promote their goods and services from North Brisbane to Tweed businesses with little cost to do so. This is ideal for market research, competitor analysis, sales growth.
