Claw Machine is the debut stand-up comedy show of Chris Martin, filled with kickass stories, life lessons and embarrassing moments (mostly orchestrated by his mum). On paper Chris’ life seems normal - a scientist in a steady relationship - however it is anything but, with the most simple of occasions, like cooking a delicious family meal or buying pants, turning into a fiasco. Chris is definitely not a dog wearing human clothes, yet due to his lack of awareness and uncanny ability to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, you’d be forgiven for wondering. He’s also really good at Claw Machines.

Chris Martin is a comedian and a director of Big Fork Theatre, a Brisbane based comedy theatre that recently had a sell-out run at the 2018 Brisbane Comedy Festival. Apart from being a 2017 Raw Comedy state finalist, Chris has studied improv at the renowned iO Theatre in Chicago, and has performed in several festivals like the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Adelaide Fringe Festival and Brisbane Comedy Festival to name a few. His combination of surreal and storytelling comedy has made him a rising star in the Brisbane comedy scene and one of Australia’s most promising up and coming stand-up comedians. Straight from performing stand-up in New York City – Claw Machine is Chris Martin’s debut stand-up comedy show.
