Unemployed Young People Demonstrate Employability.
Would you employ an unemployed young person, 17-24?
Unemployed young people face particular difficulties in gaining employment. Also the economy is tending to full employment and vacancies are staying open longer. Is there an opportunity here?
The Youth Jobs PaTH Pilot Program in Newcastle has shown significant success with obtaining permanent employment for unemployed young people who have been provided with entry level skills.
Come along and hear these success stories and a joint presentation by:
Mark Almond, Employer Liaison Officer PaTH Program, Australian Government Department of Jobs and Small Business, and Senior Managers from the Varley Group, a major manufacturing and engineering company at Tomago.
Limited places available.
