Singer-songwriter Cassandra Kubinski makes her Australian debut with her elegantly emotive pop, which Billy Joel calls "very similar to the singer/songwriters of the late 70's...transcendent."

She is currently on a tour taking her through France, Romania, Thailand, Malaysia, and Australia, and is thrilled to count The Newsagency among her stops.

Cassandra’s songs unearth bare truths within herself and within society, shattering shackling perceptions, and offering forth an exhilarating message of liberation. Her lyrics share lessons from journeys in love, loss, feminism, ambition, sexuality, nature, and self-growth. Her body of work spans three full-length albums, one double-live album, and two EPs. Select standout entries in Cassandra’s oeuvre include the pop-soul inflected “You Never Told Me,” the enlightening Autism anthem “Not So Different,” and the sweetly jaunty “You Get Me.” Each of these tracks is themed around a cause dear to Cassandra’s heart and paired with a video created to further the song’s impact and reach.

Cassandra has had the unique distinction of having recorded and released songs with Billy Joel, The Goo Goo Dolls, Grammy Award-winning trumpeter Chris Botti, and 10,000 Maniacs’ pop singer/multi-instrumentalist Mary Ramsey. Her latest release, the holiday EP, Holiday Magic, debuted at #46 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart and received national airplay on over 25 radio stations. In addition, Cassandra has also built a robust profile in Hollywood as a songwriter. She’s earned prime licensing placements in Lifetime’s wildly successful show Dance Moms, which to date has featured 13 of her tunes, and she’s had songs featured on NBC, E! News, and ESPN’S First Take. She is also the bandleader of 2-time Emmy nominated live streaming show The Never Settle Show, hosted by Mario Armstrong. As pop artist with a purpose, she’s an outspoken contributor to, and supporter of, such causes as Autism, Susan G Komen’s Relay for Life, and women’s empowerment, particularly in her role as Global Co-Chair of Membership for Women in Music.
